Down Payment Assistance Program Info Session for NR Small Businesses & Local Workforce | Virtual | English/Spanish

If you are a first-time homebuyer seeking to purchase a home within the City of New Rochelle, you may be eligible for the City’s First-Time Home Buyer’s Down Payment Assistance Program (DPAP). The program provides eligible and approved applicants with up to 19 percent of the purchase price of a single-family home, depending on the qualifications of the homebuyer, to be applied toward the down payment on a new home.
The program is funded through a combination of local and federal sources, including the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOME Program and the City’s Affordable Housing Fund.
The program has been expanded to include not only New Rochelle residents, but also:
• Individuals who do not currently live in New Rochelle but have worked in the City for at least two years.
• Owners of businesses operating within the City of New Rochelle.
• Former New Rochelle residents who previously lived here for at least two years.
